Stag Bedside Table

Second Period Furniture presents this iconic Stag Minstrel table that has undergone a careful refurbishment.

The design is influenced on Charles Rennie Mackintosh a Scottish artist and designer who used geometric shapes in his designs.

The table has undergone a full sanding to remove the existing lacquer prior to a primer undercoat followed by two two coats of black satin.

The top has been replaced with solid mahogany and reveals the grain through the paint work giving a beautiful grain effect.

The geometric design also reveals the natural mahogany contrasting through the solid black.

The drawer has a new antique pewter knob but the original Stag handle can be fitted if preferred.
